　　“标新VS传统”陈无忌作品展是2009年香象轩画廊在上海推出的格调高、题材多、展出时间最长的画展，毫无疑问既是一次传统国画艺术之盛宴，又是一道时尚青山绿水之泼彩风景线，画展已得到相关艺术机构、企业的鼎力支持。侨居新加坡十余年的陈无忌先生是谢稚柳、陈佩秋先生入室弟子。多年来，国内外大型艺术机构分别为其举办大型画展二十余次。各大拍卖行拍卖纪录达百余条。数以千计的作品被国内外各类公、私藏家收藏。

　　Innovation VS Tradition, Chen Wuji Painting Exhibition is immensely marked with multi-topic and the longest duration which has been delivered by Shanghai Xiang Xiang Xuan Art Gallery in 2009. No wonder it is a grand banquet of traditional Chinese paintings merged with fashionable colour-splashed landscape. The exhibition has been largely supported by relevant art organizations and enterprises. Mr. Chen Wuji used to be a student of Mr. Xie Zhiliu and Mrs. Chen Peiqiu during his over ten-year stay in Singapore. For years his paintings have been exhibited more than twenty times by large art organizations domestic and abroad. Auction records by various auction rooms have achieved over one hundred. Thousands of his paintings have been collected by a wide variety of private and public collectors at home and abroad.

　　主攻山水，题材囊括中国画十三科的陈无忌先生是国内外非常有影响力的国画家，在其多年旅居新加坡的艺术生涯中，推陈出新，在泼彩、泼墨的技法和色彩运用上有独特创新，形成了他独具一格的强烈的传统笔墨与现代意识相结合的艺术风格，其画面恬静娴雅又放纵不羁，设色光怪陆离又动人心弦。本次画展以冰雪、禅荷系列泼彩作品展为主，令您在炎炎夏日中领略其恢宏笔意和曼妙青绿。

　　Landscape paintings dominate all with topics covering thirteen families of Chinese traditional paintings. Mr.Chen Wuji is one of the most remarkably influential Chinese traditional painters at home and abroad. Many years of artistic stay in Singapore have brought about his unique innovation in application of color-splashed and ink-splashed techniques as well as color application, thus shaping his personalized artistic style which mingles his strong and unique traditional painting technique in advanced modern philosophy. His paintings display both feeling of tranquility in unrestrained skills, the color design in bizarre and motley but touching. The exhibition hereof highlights series of color-splashed paintings in ice and snow, lotus in Buddhist connotation, making you lingering in vast mental image and a sea of heartfelt blue and green.
